I am new to microcontroller programming and i am trying to learn more about the bootloader programming. I am using atmel ATmega328-P micro controller and in addition to that, i have an Arduino Uno board for other projects . I have seen some information regarding the usage of Arduino bootloader sketch in arduino IDE as bootloader for the ATMega 328-P using arduino uno as programmer. My question is what difference does it make if i download other custom made bootloader programs...
